Physician-scientist, inventor, entrepreneur and innovator. He is the founder of Exponential Medicine and serves as chair of the XPRIZE pandemic task force. He is the faculty chair of medicine and neuroscience at Singularity University, a program that explores rapidly developing convergent technologies and their potential in biomedicine and health. health innovator fellow at the Aspen Institute, board member of Healthy.io, trustee of The Commons Project Foundation and chief medical officer of Exponential Partners.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Brown University and a medical degree from Stanford University, and has more than 25 years of experience in clinical practice, biomedical research and health care innovation.

Through teaching positions at Stanford University School of Medicine and as a clinical faculty member of the University of California San Francisco’s pediatric bone marrow transplant service, he holds numerous scientific publications and patents related to medical devices in immunology and stem cells. He has also delivered five TED and TEDMED talks.

Master’s degree in public health and health promotion from the Henry Poincaré Institute of France. She was coordinator of special projects of the general directorate of promotion of the Ministry of Health at a Federal level.

As a founding member of the Global Health Security Initiative Task Force, she generated messages for international use (G7 + Mexico) and was an external advisor to the United Nations. She served as an international communications coordinator for the NAPAPI epidemic information management and collaborated with the Public Health Agency of Canada in Mexico City, Washington D.C. and Montreal. During the 2009 influenza pandemic, she was the director of health planning and strategy for the Coordination of Cabinets of the Republic of Mexico’s presidency.

As an executive director of Activate Now, she is a founding partner of Promueve Salud, an organization that conducts research and offers public and private institutions strategies to promote health care.

André
Medici

The Brazilian is an international health and social economist in Washington D.C. He was a senior health economist at the World Bank from 2008 until his retirement in 2020. Prior to joining World Bank he served as senior social development specialist at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington D.C. for 12 years.

He has held various positions in government and academia in Brazil before moving to D.C. He’s currently an international consultant on health economics and serves as a board member on the Brazilian Institute of Value in Health (IBRAVS), editor of the health observatory publications for the National Association of Private Hospitals in Brazil, ambassador of the United State Healthcare Alliance and editor of the Monitor de Saúde blog (www.monitordesaude.blogspot.com). He also played a key role in the planning, development and implementation of the Unified Health System (SUS) in Brazil.

He is the area head of Roche Pharma Latin America and a member of the Health 2030 Movement advisory board. Hoenger has a long track record in the region, where he has held various positions, including general manager of Roche Peru, Colombia and Ecuador, director of business development for Latin America, marketing and sales manager for Central America and the Caribbean and, most recently, general manager of Roche Brazil.

He began his career with Roche Group in 1993 as a market director for Central Asia, where he founded the company’s operations in these countries. Hoenger holds a degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Antonio is the Roche diagnostics manager for Latin America. He began his career 25 years ago as a financial controller for Roche Farma in Mexico and, over the years, has held various positions in Latin America, most recently as general manager of Roche Brazil. Antonio has extensive international experience, including leading Roche’s financial, commercial and business management operations in Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, the U.S, Central America and the Caribbean, Portugal and Brazil. Antonio holds a degree in accounting from the Escuela Bancaria y Comercial in Mexico City.

Journalist graduated from Universidad Catolica de Chile and news anchor in Meganoticias, MEGA’s prime newscast. As a radio host, she has participated in several shows focused on interviews and topics related to entrepreneurship, health, energy, commerce, economics and humanities.

In parallel to her journalistic work, Soledad Onetto has served for years as a moderator and regular speaker at business and government meetings, where she has led specialized meetings on technology, energy and tourism, among others. She currently works as a host on Infinita Radio.
